Sol Sanctuary utilizes the healing arts as a means of healing our mind, and body from the emotional pain we have experienced. We provide trauma informed education, to help us understand the effects trauma has on our body and our current daily reality. Many of us live in purpetual survival patterns. Our programs and services assist individual and families to break these patterns and cultivate a more consistent sense of well being.

The Camp Fire Crisis
On November 8, 2018, the Camp Fire tore through Butte County and became the most destructive fire in California history with 85 lives lost, 153,336 acres burned and 13,972 residences and 528 commercial buildings destroyed.
Local, state and federal organizations have responded to the emergency with an outpouring of supplies, food, and shelters to help survivors get their physical basic needs met.
The losses to the community affected by the Campfire have been difficult to quantify. Thousands of people are displaced. Homes, livelihoods, and loved ones have been lost. Support networks, community connection, outlets for emotions and grieving are needed now and into the foreseeable future.
